Lovers of J. R. R. Tolkien will know that the meaning of the word “eucatastrophe”, which Tolkien coined, is connected to the joy of the happy ending. Lovers of puns will appreciate the capitalization of the first two letters, signifying that Brexit was a catastrophe for the European Union but a joyful happy ending for Britain and for lovers of freedom throughout the world.
