I’ve just had the edifying experience of reading the obituary of a Capuchin friar, dubbed “God’s builder”, who, with delightful holy eccentricity, followed in the footsteps of St. Francis by rebuilding a ruined church with his own hands, employed in labour and prayer, but with no money. I’m sharing it in the hope that his holy example might inspire visitors to the Ink Desk as it inspired me:
