It’s no secret that Catholic fiction writers have to work harder and longer than secular authors to get their books reviewed. And although it’s true that reviews really shouldn’t mean that much, let’s face it, they do! Every author likes to know his works are being read.

Alas, many Christian publications refuse to review our works because they don’t think Catholics are Christian –and the secular media run screaming from the room when faced with anything branded “Catholic,” unless, of course, it’s an apparent scandal!

So I’m ecstatic to share a review about Catholic books that are being touted as good stocking stuffers this Christmas. And, yes, part of my ecstasy comes from the fact that two of my books, “Death of a Liturgist” and “Death in the  Choir,” made the list!

Please share the word about this list with your virtual friends on Facebook, as well as your flesh-and-blood friends as a way to support Catholic fiction.
