From the editors:

Dappled Things is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an all-new website! The new site will feature an RSS feed, social media sharing capabilities, and space for comments after each article, not to mention regular updates!

The magazine publishes fiction and poetry, reviews and essays, art and photography—all of the highest quality, by writers and artists both well known and new. Indeed, many aspiring young Catholic writers have found at Dappled Things their only opportunity to be read—and many readers have found a light in the contemporary literary darkness of post-modern secularism. But the introduction of new writers and artists is not the magazine’s only mission, and some names are as well known to secular audiences as they are to Catholic readers. Just check out the feature article “Sacred Places” as an example: a literary montage of exquisite description by Bernardo Aparicio García, David Clayton, Joseph Pearce, James V. Schall, S. J., Duncan Stroik, and Joseph Bottum.

An opportunity to read an entire issue of top quality Catholic literature—including fiction, which is available almost nowhere else—is an event rare indeed. Even more rare is the price—nothing, no charge, not a cent.

Enjoy!
