The second issue of the new online Catholic journal, linked below, is up, and it appears to be just as classy as the first. It is so heartening to see the vitality of our new publishers, writers, and artists. Bronwen McShea, editor of the Pilgrim Journal, seems a mere girl—yet she manages to teach, finish her dissertation, and start this wonderful journal at the same time. I believe the future of Catholic culture in the United States is in excellent hands, as I remember John Paul II’s prophetic “new springtime” for the Church.
