I’ve just enjoyed the great pleasure of watching the Journey Home on EWTN in which Marcus Grodi’s guest is Trevor Lipscombe, an English convert to Catholicism who now lives in the United States and is director of Catholic University of America Press. Subscribers to the St. Austin Review will recognize Trevor as someone whose excellent poetry has featured frequently over the past year or so. He is also the editor of the Ignatius Critical Edition of Newman’s novel, Loss and Gain.
 
Trevor’s conversion story is fascinating. It features Oxford, rugby, soccer, cricket, Gerard Manley Hopkins, a broken heart and a broken neck. It’s worth the investment of an hour of anyone’s time. Here’s the link:
