There have been many tributes to Jazz legend, Dave Brubeck, who died yesterday. One significant detail that was left out of the universal eulogizing was the fact that Brubeck converted to Catholicism in 1980 and spent the final 32 years of his life as a faithful Catholic. He was also married to the same woman for seventy years and accepted the blessing of a large family. Here’s the obituary in yesterday’s Telegraph.
