The two books that I would recommend, which give the most eloquent case for and against Harry Potter, are Harry Potter and the Paganization of Culture by Michael D. O’Brien (Fides et Traditio Publishers) and The Order of Harry Potter by Colin Manlove (Winged Lion Press). The former gives the case for the prosecution, the latter a balanced case for the defence.
