The poet Pavel Chichikov sent me this astonishing and heartwarming video of Russian soccer fans at a game in Moscow on Easter Sunday chanting “Christ is Risen!” with opposing fans responding with “Truly He is Risen!” Perhaps there is still hope for Christendom’s jewel in the east. Perhaps Holy Russia might emulate Her Lord and rise from the dead.
