For those who might be interested, there’s still room on the Pilgrimage that I am leading with Fr. Dwight Longenecker to England next summer. Over a ten day period, we will follow in the footsteps of the English Martyrs, visiting priest holes and places where the English Martyrs were imprisoned and put to death. We will also be visiting places of Catholic literary interest connected with Shakespeare, Tolkien, Lewis, Belloc and Chesterton. Father Dwight and I will give talks on the bus journeys between the sites. The registration deadline is February 28 with the final payment due by March 31. For more details phone (800) 290-3876 or visit www.catholicheritagetours.com/ACFC.
I really wish I could go on this pilgrimage but I have one of greater priority with the group that is going to Corato in Puglia, Italy, for the “International Congress” on Luisa Piccarreta and the gift of Living in the Divine Will, a group I belong to spiritually for many years. Theirs is in late April 2015.
Congratulations on your appointment as Director of the Center for Faith and Culture–and of course, writer in residence– at Aquinas College. I can’t imagine a more joyful situation than to work with those marvelous Dominican Sisters of St Cecilia of Nashville who seem to have an incredible gift of JOY. I wish you well in every way. I can’t remember if I congratulated you for your Honorary Doctorate from St Thomas More. I’ve now read many of your wonderful books. Thank you.
