Maybe I am getting a little misogynistic in my old age. But that picture on the link of the woman (rolling her sleeves up), that hard expression on her face. I see everywhere.
Of all the many things the modern world is ruining the ruination of women is the worst.
When I think of my mother and aunts and and how soft they were and gentle and…compare them with the super-professional women I am surrounded with today. Well there is no comparision.
Maybe I am getting a little misogynistic.
*Sigh*
What else is new?
Actually, shouldn’t the title read “Matriarchy=Anarchy”? Patriarchy is the way of God, the Church, and mankind, after all. Another good title would have been “Feminists ruin everything”. I like that one. 😉
Another, though unrelated, thing: Mr. Pearce, every now and then I see you post (here on STAR) your response to an email you received. How do these people get in touch with you? Are they friends who know your personal email address, or do you have a job-related email address? If you have a public email address for these type of things, could you give it out? I ask because there have been times before where I wanted to ask you a question related to your work, but I have only been able to use STAR to do it, and that is not always the best medium. In particular I have a question I’d like to ask you regarding C.S. Lewis and Catholicism/your work in this area/an essay from a few years ago that challenged your thesis.
Thank you.
RC, I can be reached at jpearce@thomasmorecollege.edu.
Thank you Mr. Pearce!
