It’s a strange world. A few decades ago, the world was in the grip of the Cold War. On one side of the frozen divide was the Soviet Union, an atheist empire that sought to impose its anti-Christian agenda on the world; on the other side was the United States and its allies, fighting to preserve freedom, including religious liberty, from the evil designs of the Soviet creed of secular fundamentalism. Today, the government of the United States has declared war on religion, seeking to destroy the liberties of Christians. Meanwhile, the government of Russia is passing laws to protect Christians from the attacks of secular fundamentalism.
In the topsy-turvy world in which we live, Christians should look to the east for examples of the freedoms that they are losing in the west.

You know what would be even better than a land of religious freedom/religious liberty?
A Christian state. A Christian commonwealth. A Christian empire. A Christian kingdom. And the list goes on.
