I’m encouraged by a positive review of my most recent book, Through Shakespeare’s Eyes, in the new edition of the New Oxford Review. On the other hand, it’s very difficult to convey the depth and subtlety of the Catholic dimension in Shakespeare’s plays in the confined scope of a relatively short book review. Readers of the review will, therefore, not find a convincing argument for the Catholic presence in the plays. In order to gain the true and full perspective, it’s necessary to read the book, not a review of it! That said, here’s a link to the review: http://www.newoxfordreview.org/briefly.jsp?did=0311-briefly
