I forgot to mention in my preview of the forthcoming issue of StAR that we have three new regular columns being launched in this issue.

The most exciting news is that Thomas Howard, author of so many wonderful books, has become a regular StAR columnist. His new column will be called “Ashes to Ashes”.

Also being launched with this issue is a new regular column on prominent or interesting converts, which will be called “Roads to Rome”. The writer of this column is Englishman, John Beaumont, author of the definitive guide to British converts, also called Roads to Rome, which was published by St. Augustine’s Press.

Last but certainly not least, the indefatigable Father Longenecker has a new column called “The Inklings” in which he will wax lyrical on anything and everything related to J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis and their circle of friends.

As if there weren’t already more than enough reasons to become a StAR subscriber, here are three more to make StAR completely irresistible to any Catholic who is serious about the cultural heritage of Christian civilization.

Get serious! Subscribe to StAR now. You can do so from this very site. It couldn’t be easier!
