In haste. In brief. I’m in a hotel in Nashville, having given a talk last night at Aquinas College on the greatness of Chesterton.
I’m leaving for Mass in about twenty minutes with some good friends of mine from the cajun band, L’Angelus. If you haven’t heard this wonderful group, check them out on YouTube. After Mass I’m having lunch with members of the band and we’ll be joined by Marie Bellet, another fine Catholic singer/songwriter. Again, check her out on YouTube.

I saw the sign at Aquinas as I drove home last week. Alas, I am compelled to keep late office hours and am generally unable to make it to weekday events at 6 PM. But if you were hearing Mass alongside the lovely members of the Rees family, you must have been at St. Mary’s or Assumption, my own ecclesiastical stomping grounds (if one can use such a phrase). I do hope the trip was enjoyable.
