Whereas feminism and femininity are polar opposites, the same cannot be said of sex slavery and sexual liberation. This article from the UK’s Telegraph takes a trip back to the so-called swinging sixties and takes a woman’s-eye view of the grim reality of sexual “liberation” and the price that women were forced to pay as the cost of “free” love. Even grimmer than the dark underbelly of the sixties is how its legacy has turned today’s “liberated” girls into sex slaves. The ironic paradox is that women’s liberation took liberties with moral convention and, in consequence, took liberties away from future generations of women.
